American Care Air Ambulance

American Care Air Ambulance arranges the following three types of aero medical transport medical evacuation services for domestic and international flights:

PRIVATE MEDICALLY EQUIPPED AIRCRAFT:

This service is utilized most often. Amercan Care Air Ambulance will arrange a complete bed-to-bed service; including ground transportation, medical staff, medical equipment and aircraft. The aircraft is configured as a mini intensive care unit to handle BLS, ALS and Critical Care patients for each flight. Medical staff consisting of Nurses, Doctors, Respiratory Therapists, and paramedics are available. All aero medical staffing is customized to the patient’s particular needs. American Care Air Ambulance is committed to coordinating safe air medical transports for patients and air medical crew members.

COMMERCIAL STRETCHER ON INTERNATIONAL CARRIERS:

American Care Air Ambulance provides an alternate option for patients. Commercial stretcher is suitable for patients too critical to fly with a medical escort. This consists of blocking out rows of seats to allow a FAA approved stretcher to be placed on the commercial airline. A curtained area would become the patients “room.”  All of the needed arrangements and use of aero-medical staff and equipment is provided.

MEDICAL ESCORT:

When the patient acuity and cost of a private air ambulance is not necessary, there is another option. American Care Air Ambulance can provide the assistance of a “medical escort.” American Care Air Ambulance will consult with the patient’s Physician(s) then evaluate his/her medical condition as it relates to air travel and advice on the best method of transport.
