American Care Air Ambulance Equipment
American Care Air Ambulance with its bed to bed service is totally dedicated to providing critical care aero medical transportation service. All aircrafts will be manned by two experienced Registered Nurses, with CCU/ICU/ACLS training. If conditions necessitate a Physician, Respiratory Therapist or Paramedic, all are available for any flight. All have been trained in aviation physiology, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). Two Medical personnel will accompany the patient on every flight.
Starting with your first telephone call you will speak to our coordination staff, who are on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year, they will gladly walk you through all the steps of a transport. From this point they will conduct our medical team, who immediately consult the attending Physician at the referring facility to obtain detailed medical information to prepare for the evacuation, they do this to ensure adequate medical needs, time requirements and hospital information to further guarantee efficient treatment of the patient while in flight. Our medical team works closely with the coordination team to assess the medical needs of the patient and to determine the best treatment and which aircraft would be best for the transport.
